Safe Flights with South American Jets

Safe flights: Always thinking about the safety of our customers

To ensure the safety of our customers’ flights, South American Jets has become a Wingman Operator and follows the standards established by Wyvern, the world’s leading group in aviation safety audits. We also hold internationally recognized memberships and accreditations from the NBAA (National Business Aircraft Association), BACA (Baltic Air Charter Association), EBAA (European Business Aviation Association) and ASBAA (Asian Business Aviation Association).

What does this mean? First, to ensure that air charter services comply with rigorous safety regulations, Wyvern created the comprehensive Wingman Standard for carefully vetting and certifying air charter operators. This standard consists of established criteria for both initial and recurring safety audits. Audits are performed every twelve months, these audits permanently review vetting parameters, ensuring that they can adapt to changes introduced by new technology, customers’ needs, and the market’s evolution. Consequently, every air service supplier must comply with the Wingman Standard to obtain a Wingman Operator Certification.

The Wingman Standard allows air charter services to continue growing their operations while ensuring customer safety and proactively managing risks based on established industry practices and standards. To this end, each air charter supplier must undergo recurring safety audits every twelve months. In other words, Wyvern performs a two-day onsite evaluation, checking maintenance records, aircraft performance, photos of the planned routes and potential risks factors, each year. Wingman Operators are listed in Wyvern’s database, so clients can verify if their charter services meet a recognized international safety standard. This also means that South American Jets can provide a PASS Report (Pilot and Aircraft Safety Survey) on request, certifying that the aircraft, pilots, and crew assigned to your private jet flight have been evaluated and comply with the rigorous Wingman Standard.

Furthermore, our services allow our clients to check that individual air charter operators hold a current Air Operating Certificate (AOC) by US FAA regulations (Federal Aviation Administration). You may also confirm that the aircraft being chartered is listed on South American JetsOperations Specifications, that it holds current insurance, and that each crew member meets the Wingman Safety Standard. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Adhering to strict, international safety standards is one more way that we are working hard to provide you with an excellent experience.
